Transformation

By Beryl Comar

What is Transformation?

It is a change of direction on all levels within an organisation, a change of not only how we work, but how we think, interact, participate and perform.

The prerequisites, definition and conditions, of Transformation necessary for Organizational and personal transformation?

1. Personal transformation is a deep, fundamental shift in the underlying mindset, assumptions and belief system that drive attitude, thinking, communication, behavior and personal effectiveness (in that order). And gaining rapport with self.

2. Organizational transformation is a deep, fundamental shift in a critical mass of the members of the organization ,the underlying mindset, assumptions and belief system that drive attitudes, thinking, communication, behavior and performance (in that order). And gaining rapport in the organisation.

Transformation is an event or process from which you don't recover (meaning slipping back into old habits and practices). It is permanent and you move on from there into new fields of possibilities with an expanded potential for success.

Transformation depends on better thinking - Being able to "shed skin", change our paradigms.

Everyone can learn to think better. The band Ministry sings about " The mind is a terrible thing to taste". In the same vein: The mind is a terrible thing to waste. We can all learn to think better and use our potential.

The tools for better thinking are available.

Organisations that encourage and develop thinking skills in every member of the organisation, create an environment where transformation and success flourishes.

Watch as NLP techniques and De Bono thinking techniques merge together as Dina Faidi (a recent NFNLP Master Practitioner) becomes a force to be reckoned with. Congratulations on the publication of your new book Dina, and I look forward to our new fruitful working relationship, Beryl
